Up Early

I was up early with the birds this morning – they were BUSY! These mountain chickadees Red Breasted Nuthatches are so skittish and jumpy. (Corrected by an 11 y/o ornithologist…)

The hummingbirds are so fascinating to watch – this one came a half a dozen times.

And The Gold Finch and Purple Finch are regulars..

We LOVE having birdfeeders out our dining room window – we watch their celebration of spring. I have two more hooks that Erica is plotting to fill – I have some pine cones we might do something fun with!

Off to a busy, BUSY day!
