I was so thankful that our trip this summer allowed a visit to our dear friends, Tim and Cindy Clem, who have recently returned from 5 years of service in Costa Rica with Engineering Missions International. They are currently living on a beautiful ranch outside of Bend, and we got to spend a few hours with them. It was marvelous.
Cindy and I met in Nursing school way back in 1994.
Tim and Leroy were friends in college in the early 90s.
They met when we ‘fixed them up’ in 1997. This was taken THAT weekend. Seems like yesterday and a lifetime ago…
And then we started multiplying…
And they went to Costa Rica in 2008 -
And now we are this…
God has been present so clearly in both of our lives in such incredibly different ways. We are so thankful to count Tim and Cindy among our closest friends.
This was the view as we drove away from their beautiful home…
