The Fourth of July!!
We had a busy holiday weekend!
Here is the stellar photographic evidence!!

Leroy had Friday off so we started off the weekend with a trip to Lattin's Cider Mill - a local working farm that makes amazing apple cider donuts and has lots of animals to feed. The kids love going there - we fed the goats and the kids always have to ride the mini-carousel.

Then we stopped and got strawberries from the local strawberry farm -YUM!

Oh and I bought a little pint of raspberries but a certain someone ate most of them before I could get my hands on them...

Fireworks downtown - a hokey little tradition we have to go and camp out in the Target parking lot with thousands of other people to watch the local firework display. We were there from 6 pm - ate Arby's, lots of snacks, hung out with friends and waited for hours for the 20 minute display. Then we sat in our cars with the same thousands of people trying to get out of said parking lot.

Saturday morning was spent at the Tumwater Patriotic Parade - camped out by the side of the road watching the local attractions...

Then I took the strawberries - made homemade shortcake and we BBQed with our neighbors and blew up some money in the culdesac.

All in all it was a fun family weekend! We had planned on going for a bike ride on Sunday, but it was muggy and hot and we were tired. So we settled for naps on the couch, french toast for dinner, and some Extreme Home Makeover from the DVR.
Hope you had a great Fourth of July!
