I took Amanda in for her 2 week dr appt yesterday, almost a week late since we were in the hospital for the actual date! She will be three weeks tomorrow - Seems like forever and also like yesterday at the same time.
When she was admitted to the hospital, she weighed 4#14oz. Yesterday she weighed 5#14oz! Dr Petersen was pleased and commented how great she looked. Her jaundice is almost gone and she has filled out a little - not so gaunt looking. And she is having more wake time - very alert and listening to what is going on around her. She was awake for the appointment so he got to see how alert that she is.
All the allergy testing came back negative so it is just a sensitivity to milk and maybe soy too. Nothing new to us - that is Nate's issue as well. He can tolerate soy now - but only in moderation. I plan on trying out milk here in the next couple of weeks and see how he does.
Ok -off to try and fit in some household stuff in between pumping and feeding and pulling Nate off the ceiling before going to get Ryan at school. Oh I am tired even thinking about it all!
