It is our week off for school so we came down for an extended weekend visit with my sister and parents. Leroy had to work so unfortunately he is home alone… (alone. in a quiet house. hmmm… is that so bad???)
We hauled 9 bikes into Salem and rode across the railroad trestle – it wasn’t a warm day but it wasn’t raining and that was GREAT!
LOTS and lots of photographers have used this shot… and it is well worth it.
My two youngest each graduated up a bike –can you tell how proud they are? Mandy on Erica’s old one, complete with basket and baby seat, and Nate on Ryan's beloved ‘Spiderman’ bike. I ended up pulling Mandy with a strap, but it was fun nevertheless.
Why do I take pictures like this? They rarely turn out well – but a memory captured regardless!
We picnicked and had a grand old time!
Then Grandma paid for not one, but two rounds on the carousel – FUN!
And to make a wonderful day even more special, we visited my marvelous grandparents. Grandpa is 93 and Grandma will be 92 in a couple months – they were having a great day. Grandma doesn't remember so well anymore, but she did great today.
Missing my Aussie sister in these pictures – we’ll get them at Christmas, right Sarah?
