Tempt-Your-Tummy Tuesday–Chocolate Chip Muffins

It is pretty obvious that we love muffins around here. I am always looking for a fun new recipe to try. I have been wanting a lighter chocolate chip muffin and I found this recipe. YUM!

DSC00114Chocolate Chip Muffins
2 cups flour
3/4 cup white sugar 
3 t b. powder
3/4 t. salt
3/4 c. chocolate chips – mini are best, but reg work fine too
1 c. milk
1/3 c. veg. oil
1 egg
1 t vanilla

Topping: 3 Tb white sugar combined with 2 Tb Brown sugar
OR - 1/4 c raw sugar

Oven at 400.
1. Combine dry ingredients including chocolate chips
2. Combine wet ingredients with a whisk.
3. Combine all at once, mix just until incorporated.
4. Spoon into 12-24 muffin tins depending on how big of muffins you want. You can use liners or just sprayed.
5. Sprinkle topping over each muffin.
6. Bake 15 - 25 minutes depending on how big the muffins are. Pull out when they are golden but not browned.
7. Let cool some so they will come out of the pan or liners.
