A couple of days ago, Erica came running in with this in her hand..
This is frozen dirt, people. Apparently she was walking along our back 40 and was curious why the ground kept giving way under her feet. So she brought this in to share.
And then she found these icicles that had grown upward, not covered in dirt so they are more clearly defined. Lots of cool science going on around here!
