Anyway - Erica had 10 kids - girls AND boys - it is nice to not have to entertain at all. They skate, eat pizza, open presents, eat cake and ice cream and then skate more till the session is done. More expensive than having it at the house, but not overly so. And much less stressful on this pregnant mom. Boy the other parents sure kicked in an helped me - pouring drinks and serving cake - that was so nice of them. And it is fun to connect with others moms and dads.
Oh and Nate and Ryan both skated for the first time - how fearless they are! By the end Ryan fell apart after falling way too many times; he cried till I took the skates off. Nate didn't want to take his skates off. When he started walking in the skates sideways so he wouldn't fall - oh we had to laugh at that! They both had a BLAST!
