Thursday Conversations

Manda and I am outside, I am weeding, and she is finding bugs. She had a ladybug on her hand, but it flew away.

Manda - THE BUG WENT AWAY!!! (everything she says is in caps - really.)

Mom - Did he fly away?

Manda - NO, HE HAD A CAR!

Mom - I don't think bugs have cars.

Manda - NO CARS.

Mom - Do they have wings? Did it fly away?

Manda - NO. IT WALKED.

...a few minutes later.

Manda - MANDA HAS WINGS - I CAN FLY! (flapping her arms...) LIKE THIS MOMMY!

Mommy - are you a bug who is gonna fly away?

Manda - NO. I HAVE A CAR.
