There is quite a large contingent of homeschoolers in our area. People put together field trips all the time and invite others to participate. I don’t take advantage of most of them – but occasionally one comes along that can’t be missed! My good friend Michelle put this one together and it was great fun!
I love watching my kids hang out with other kids!
A few minutes after arriving, the firefighters filed in. And there goes Nate – I think it so awesome how he has no fear – he just goes right up to them and starts talking and asking questions. Love his confidence!!
We got a tour of the fire house…
And the fire trucks…
The kids all got to sit in the seats and they had the intercoms on, so they could talk to each other.
(why are all firefighters so good looking???)
They all got fun hats and a goody bag of fire safety things….
And Nate always has a new friend…

... and yes, fireman are most of the time very goodlooking... ;)
